Happy New Year! January 2016 is here and it is time to kick off the start of my more eco conscious lifestyle.

In January, I’d like to:

• stop using single use plastic bags at the grocery store and at the shopping centre.
• start a group to make Boomerang Bags so that other people learn to bring their own bags to the shops too.

In the next week or so, I’ll post the plan/calendar for my whole eco year.  I’d like to incorporate some of the International and National Environmental days like World Oceans Day and Clean up Australia Day. And I’m also going to be working towards Plastic Free July which I registered for last week. There is a link to some of the Australian days and weeks here.

It’s going to be an exciting and greener year! Bring it on!
